The service stations associated with Assopetroli will become part of the Inzona network, the Nexive service that distributes post nationwide. With the InZona project, launched in 2016 with the first involvement of news stands and other businesses with widespread distribution, citizens can receive and send mail and parcels at fuel stations.

"'In Zona' project have introduced new ways to help citizens in their daily operations related to the collection of their correspondence, whether it be a registered letter or a purchase made online. This initiative capitalises on Nexive's ongoing commitment to driving innovation in the postal sector through the increasing integration of physical and digital", said Managing Director of Nexive, Luciano Traja.

"In recent years we have seen a progressive transformation of fuel stations from mere supply points to aggregators of heterogeneous services dedicated to the consumer. Synergies like this can make a real contribution to improving the sustainability and usability of our cities", commented President of Assopetroli-Assoenergia, Andrea Rossetti.

The project started six months ago with a first phase of testing that involved reaching out to fuel stations. Nexive and Assopetroli will also offer training and support for the implementation of the services offered in the sites. The first service station that joined the initiative will open in Naples soon.
