Driving Norway is the industry association for companies that sell liquid fuels and energy.

Our main task is to safeguard and promote our members' common interests in the Norwegian energy and fuel stations market, as well as to be a contact between public authorities and the industry. We make consultation statements and industry standards, compile industry statistics, and have meetings with government agencies and other collaborators. We also help our members to follow up laws and regulations.

In 2017 we changed name from the Norwegian Petroleum Institute (NP) to Drivkraft Norge. The name change is a result of the industry's continuous change, and the transition from petrol stations to energy stations. The NP was created on February 27, 1970.
