IAPG - Argentinian Institute of Oil & Gas

The Argentinian Institute of Oil & Gas (Instituto Argentino del Petróleo y del Gas, IAPG) is a technical private non-profit civil organization which gathers all the local and foreign companies doing business in the oil & gas industry in Argentina. Established in June 1957, It has became a technical benchmarker which creates, plans and performs studies and analysis of all of the activities regarding the hydrocarbons industry and energy in general. Its mission is to communicate with transparency and efficiency technical information about the hydrocarbons industry.

Today it gathers about 170 companies engaged in all the areas of the value chain: Upstream, Downstream, Midstream; supply chain, services, legal advice; environmental consultancy, etc. And more than 700 individual members who work actively within workgroups; as well as a permanent staff which translates the result of that work via conferences, congresses, courses, publications and many other activities. Besides its headquarter in Buenos Aires, the IAPG has established 7 sectional offices across the country and within the main producing areas.
