The Irish LP Gas Association is the representative body of companies involved in the distribution and marketing of LP Gas in Ireland.

The Irish LP Gas Association was established in 1969. It is the representative body of companies involved in the distribution and marketing of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) in Ireland. The Irish LP Gas Association is a member of the AEGPL - the European LP Gas Association - and has worked closely with the AEGPL on issues relating to technical standards for the industry and in making the case for increased use of LP Gas throughout the European Union. In addition, since 1990, technical members of the Association have been heavily involved in the development of European Standards, and particularly those Standards related to LP Gas.

Since 1981 the Association has also worked with Irish Government Departments and Bord Gais Eireann on the Gas Technical Standards Committee (GTSC) in the preparation of gas-related Irish Standards.

The Irish LP Gas Association's primary objectives are:

  • The promotion of the safe storage, distribution and use of LP Gas.
  • The promotion of study and research into the principles, methods and techniques concerned with the safe development, use, application, storage and transportation of LP Gas.

Whilst in Ireland on holiday july & august 2019 in my motorhome . Great difficulty in finding suppliers of LPG.I use it in my Van for cooking only. I have properly installed facilities in my motorhome. Can you please inform me if a list of suppliers available. Many thanks for your attention
