Sustainable vehicle washes: less water, same quality

Kärcher introduces the new eco!efficiency function for the gantry car washes CW 3 Klean!Star and CW 5 Klean!Star iQ.

The new mode enables resource-friendly operation through the intelligent optimisation of energy and water consumption. eco!efficiency mode uses an advanced adaptation system in order to conserve energy, detergent and resources. At the same time, it improves the efficiency of the car washes without having to compromise on the quality and the cleaning results.

Vehicle wash systems save up to 200,000 litres of water annually

The flexibility of eco!efficiency mode enables operators to optimise their business where needed. Each saving can be individually activated or deactivated. For instance, operators can set eco!efficiency mode to the specific requirements of their machines and sites and achieve the optimal balance between efficiency and performance. In practice this leads to considerable savings: a standard car wash that cleans 8,000 cars per year can save between 150,000 and 200,000 litres of water, 1,500 to 1,900 kilowatt hours of energy and 40 litres of detergent every year with eco!efficiency mode.
