PSI to handle Statoil retail cash management in Sweden starting in February

PSI Group’s CashGuard system “was selected by Statoil Fuel & Retail Sweden to provide its cash management systems to Statoil full-service stations in Sweden,” PSI said in a press release.

PSI systems “give retailers control of their cash management. This allows them to focus on the business instead of the cash,” the PSI statement which was issued in late December added.

Statoil Fuel & Retail, with over 2,300 fuel stations in Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic Countries and Russia, was separated from the Norway-based Statoil oil multinational into a separate division in 2010 and two years later it was bought by Canada’s Alimentation Couche-Tard, according to information available in Wikipedia.
