Singapore antitrust authority inquires over February fuel price increases

The Antitrust authority of Singapore has started an inquiry to determine if a February hike in fuel prices was justified, according to local media reports.

The country’s trade and industry authorities as well as the antitrust agency issued a warning against any behavior which could include anticompetitive actions.

The action follows an accusation by a consumer protection organization which had raised concerns over significant fuel price increases during the month.
