Pemex signs contract to buy 120 million liters of ethanol

State oil Mexican company Pemex on April 7 signed contracts to buy some 120 million liters of ethanol annually, the company said, according to a report from April 8.

The contracts were signed with Alcoholera de Zapopan, Bioenergéticas Mexicanos, Mexicanos; Soluciones en Ingeniería Naval, Marina y Terrestre; Destiladora del Papaloapan, Productores de Bioenergéticas y Fabricación de Alimentos Tenerife. Ethanol is being added because of its capacity to help reduce emissions.
