Lukoil said that the efficiency of refining will improve through increased production of light fuels which have high added value. It added that Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov attended the inauguration.

The refining depth will reach 90 percent and the energy efficiency will also grow, while lower emissions of greenhouse gases will produce a significant positive environmental impact.

“The new facility will turn out high-quality petroleum products (fuel gas, gasoline, diesel fuel and vacuum gasoil), all compliant with the European Union’s most stringent requirements,” Lukoil said.
