Last update:

According to information published the Federazione Autonoma Italiana Benzinai (Faib) on June 5, the fuel stations are affected by the authorities decision to close the highway for a period of time still undetermined.

The organizations also repeated past complaints against pricing policies.

“A similar situation is occurring in Sicilian highways where works in progress, in addition to pricing policies, have caused an extended period of suffering” for station operators, according to the report.

The retailer organizations have announced a 48-hour work stoppage at the end of June in a bid to change pricing policies so that running a fuel station can become more profitable.
