Seven years later Punjabis will have CNG supply in winter
After seven years of suffering shortages, natural gas supply to CNG filling stations in Punjab, a large region belonging to India and Pakistan, will resume activities during the winter period.
The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has applauded the government´s decision to continue the supply to CNG outlets after the announcement made by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL), reported Pakistan´s Daily Times.
According to the APCNGA´s central leader, the decision will save tens of thousands of jobs and will signify a Rs 300 billion investment, for which the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi deserve credit, he said.
The APCNGA also stated that they would try to bring LNG to the CNG filling stations in Punjab in order to reduce prices and ensure supply.
