Select c-stores among 2015 Foodservice Innovators

Convenience retailers have been recognized in this year’s Food Service Innovators Awards. The Awards, presented by Tyson Convenience, aim to recognize excellent products and services offered by c-stores in six foodservice categories, reported Convenience Store News.

The winners have been selected by a panel of 18 experts in retail, supply, research, and consulting fields.

The La Crosse, Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip is this year’s Foodservice Innovator while 2015 Prepared Foods Innovator has been awarded to Quik Trip.

York, Pennsylvania-based chain Rutter’s has been declared Best New Foodservice Program of the Year while CST Brands’ Nice N Easy has clinched the Foodservice Limited-Time Offer/Promotion of the Year.

Racetrac is the Cold & Frozen Beverages Innovator of the Year. But when it comes to hot beverages, Sheetz is this year’s innovator.
