Tesoro signs fuel supply deal for 55 Nevada gas stations

Refining company Tesoro will increase its presence in the Las Vegas area after signing a supply deal with Anabi Oil Corp. to sell fuel at 55 high-volume gas stations.

The deal, signed by Tesoro´s affiliate Tesoro Refining & Marketing Co., will allow the company to expand the reach of its ARCO and Mobil fuel brands in the Las Vegas region.

Under the agreement, Tesoro will supply fuel to 55 gas stations acquired by California-based Anabi from Rebel Oil last December.

"This will strengthen our network, and Las Vegas is a natural extension of the Southern California assets we currently hold,” said Sam Anabi, President of Anabi Oil Corportation. “Tesoro is a strategic and valuable partner to Anabi Oil Corporation, and we look forward to a long relationship with Tesoro."

The recently acquired filling stations will add to Anabi´s existing network of 50 ARCO and Mobil branded locations in greater Las Vegas.

"We are very pleased to add these 55 high-quality locations to our existing branded portfolio in Las Vegas and to further grow our business,” said Claude Moreau, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Tesoro.

Tesoro's retail-marketing system includes over 2,300 retail stations under the ARCO, Shell, Exxon, Mobil, USA Gasoline and Tesoro brands.
