The new station, located at Bd. Pallady, nr. 50, sector 3, is also the first SOCAR station in the country specially equipped to charge electric vehicles, said the company’s news release.

Like other SOCAR stations present in 16 counties in Romania, it also has a store that sells car accessories and food including Azerbaijan’s very own beverages sand coffee and pomegranate juice.

Customers can also pay their bills, utilities, and make bank transactions through self-service terminals and ATM available in the filling station. Internet-connected tablets and WIFI are also provided.

Hamza Karimov, CEO of SOCAR Petroleum S.A., said that the company continues to invest in Romania and expands its successful gas station network.

Aside from Romania and Azerbaijan, SOCAR also operates filling stations in Georgia, Ukraine, and Switzerland.
