Tesla chargers in NYC to outnumber gas stations

Tesla had equipped 68 Manhattan garages with 'destination chargers' and opened a 40,000-square-foot showroom and service garage in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The urban EV chargers can provide a full charge within four hours and most of them will be free to Tesla car owners.

Tesla “supercharger stations”, which can fully recharge a car within 40 minutes, have already been installed along highways nationwide.
