Interview with Niklas Iwan, H2 Mobility: "Hydrogen is the fuel of the future"
At UNITI Expo 2016, PetrolPlaza met with Niklas lwan, Managing Director of H2 Mobility, to discuss the benefits of hydrogen-powered vehicles, the challenges of introducing a new fuel into a market and the goals that the company has set for the future.
By 2023 H2 Mobility plans to install up to 400 hydrogen refuelling stations in Germany. If the company was to reach those numbers, it would signify the world’s largest network of hydrogen stations.
In 2014, six industrial partners, Air Liquide, Daimler, Linde, OMV, Shell and TOTAL got together to found the joint venture H2 MOBILITY Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG. Its mission consists in the swift, efficient development of the hydrogen infrastructure needed for fuel cell vehicles, in order to provide nationwide coverage.
