Malaysia: Petronas offers perks to GrabCar drivers

Malaysian fuel retail firm Petronas Daganghan Berhad (PDB) and ride hailing service GrabCar have launched the Kad Mesra Grab, a loyalty program that offers discounts and rewards on fuel products and all purchases at Petronas stations.

This long-term partnership will further strengthen PDB's position in fuel and lubricant market in Malaysia and at the same time maximize GrabCar drivers' final income, according to a company release.

"Aside from the fuel and lubricant benefits and exclusive discounts via the Kad Mesra Grab, they will also receive online shopping vouchers, car fresheners, food & beverage offers and car maintenance benefits,” said Sean Goh, Country Head of Grab Malaysia.

In addition, PDB and GrabCar will launch a joint Corporate Social Responsibility Programme which aims to involve GrabCar drivers in contributing to the society.
