SOCAR Energy Ukraine plans to increase the number of gas stations in Ukraine to 42 by the end of 2018, said Elchin Mammadov, CEO of SOCAR Energy Ukraine.

“Since 2016, SOCAR has been actively developing the infrastructure of the AGZP. To date, the company's network has 35 stations. By the end of the year we plan to put into operation another 7 new stations,” said Mammadov in an interview with the magazine Sovremennaya AZS.

SOCAR Energy Ukraine currently controls 10% of the wholesale fuels market with tank farms in Kiev, Lviv, Kharkov and Odessa, according to Interfax.

Despite the difficult situation that Ukraine suffers, Mammadov said that the company plans to continue to develop the fuel market.
