Boming Group begins new marine fuel oil operation in Copenhagen

The Bomin Group, a trader of marine fuel oil, announced on April 16 that it is launching a physical operation in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Copenhagen operations complement Bomin’s existing physical network in the Baltic Sea region, including Tallinn, Stockholm and Rostock.

“Securing supply in key markets for our customers is an important part of the growth strategy for the Baltic region”, said Anatoli Belov, Managing Director Bomin Baltic.

“We plan to phase our physical expansion within Copenhagen, beginning with providing products ex-pipe and by truck,” he added.

The company operates 36 offices worldwide and is owned by Mabanaft. Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG is the trading division of Marquard & Bahls, Germany, a privately owned company. The business encompasses the import and wholesale of petroleum products. Furthermore, the company is active in bunker services, service stations, heating-oil retail, lubricants and biofuels.
