Spain: 200 gas stations sell diesel under €0.80
Staggering low oil prices have brought down the price of diesel in 200 Spanish gas stations to under €0.80 per litre.
According to the Ministry of Industry´s digital portal, 9,585 of the country´s 9,677 service stations are currently selling diesel under 1 Euro a litre, reported Voz Populi.
Of the total number of service stations, almost 3,000 are selling diesel at under €0.90, while 200 have gone right down to less than €0.80 per litre.
Falling oil prices have also affected the price of unleaded, with 150 service stations selling OCT 95 for less than 1 Euro.
In line with Spain´s fuel retailing market, the lowest fuel prices have been recorded at independent gas stations, most of them low-cost, and at supermarket forecourts.
