Sweden: Tieto, Preem renew ties on e-billing services

Tieto, Swedish IT service provider, and Preem, the country's largest fuel company have extended their partnership for the delivery of e-invoicing services.

Thanks to the new deal Preem can now send electronic invoices to all clients and suppliers through their online bank.

The simplified payment process would also save Preem 1.1 million Swedish kronas ($123,034.23) and reduce the use of paper invoices, according to a company release.

"We have already seen the benefits of these services, both as a cost-saving measure and as another part of our efforts to help shape a greener future,” said Susann Jansson, Business Support at Preem.

"The extension of our deal demonstrates the value of our partnership for both Preem as well as for their customers,” said Jonas Stålenhag, Sales Manager at Tieto.
