Wawa's first store in Washington, DC still a mystery

Convenience store chain Wawa is opening its first store in Washington, D.C. but its specific location still remains a secret, according to cstoredecisions.com.

Only known for now, as reported by Washington Business Journals, is that the D.C. store will feature a design specifically created for the nation's capital.

More details will be revealed including its location, design, and renderings at an event on June 13 at the Newseum.

Wawa currently operates more than 730 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.
