Located at the M0 highway, it will form part of the LNG and compressed natural gas (CNG) corridor of the Trans-European transport network (TEN-T).

Four LNG and CNG, in addition, will be built along the main highways in Hungary.

The investment is expected to be completed in September 2017,"(which) means that from autumn, it will be possible to fill LNG-powered trucks on one of the most important transit routes of the country. Also, another high-capacity station will be in service for CNG-fuelled vehicles," said Henrik Domanovszky, Chairman of MGKKE and coordinator of the PAN-LNG Project.

The natural gas project has the support of the Hungarian government and has received funding from the European Union through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
