Neste to supply renewable fuel to Finnish logistics chain

Finnish oil refining and marketing company Neste will supply non-profit UFF’s logistics chain with Neste MY Renewable Fuel.

U-landshjälp från Folk till Folk i Finland rf (UFF)is a Finland-based organization that recycles clothing for non-profit purposes and is part of the international Humana People to People charity consortium.

UFF’s trucks drive around 800,000 - 900,000 kilometers per year when collecting clothes for recycling and reuse.

"It is very natural for us to start using Neste MY Renewable Diesel, which is a fuel innovation that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 90 percent,” said UFF’s CEO Virve Kivi.

Neste MY Renewable Diesel is classified as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and should not be confused with traditional biofuel. It can be used in any blending ratio or as such in all diesel engines, explained the company.
