Video review - NACS Insight Summit Europe 2015

The PetrolPlaza team attended this year´s NACS Insight Convenience Summit – Europe, which brought together convenience and fuel retailers from around the world to Berlin and London.

With a variety of panels and debates, the Convenience Summit – Europe saw retail and convenience professionals discuss the key aspects of the industry, debate present and future strategies, as well as new consumer trends.

The 5-day event welcomed 77 attendees to Berlin and over 200 to London from a range of 24 countries. During a three day period NACS organized store tours for visitors, including tours to German ‘hard discounting’ supermarkets Aldi and Lidl, according to NACS.

PetrolPlaza spoke to a variety of key industry figures to obtain an overview of the summit and the importance of convenience and fuel retailing events such as NACS or Uniti expo. Interviewees include Magnus Reitan, CEO of Reitan Convenience AS; NACS Managing Director Dan Munford; and Frank Gleeson, Managing Director of Aramark Food Services.
