Canadian retailer has developed its own design for charging stations with up to 10 sites already active.

Petro Canada has started to roll out its own electric vehicle charging points as part of their service station offering.

The Canadian fuel retailer, owned by energy group Suncor, now has 10 gas stations where electric vehicle users can pull-up to charge their cars.

Currently, consumers can charge-up their vehicles for free as the company if trying to get feedback from users and testing the different power options. According to a customer that contacted Electrek, the tags on the charging points state that they have a charging capacity of 100kW and 200kW.

Petro Canada follows the likes of Shell, BP and Total in adapting their sites to electric mobility.
