English Español New project to develop hydrogen fuelling in Australia

Infinite Blue Energy Pty Ltd and NewVolt Infrastructure will roll out hydrogen infrastructure and EV chargers.

Last update:

Australian green hydrogen supplier Infinite Blue Energy Pty Ltd and NewVolt Infrastructure have announced a project to develop green hydrogen fuelling stations across the country.

The network, operated by NewVolt, will include 17 EV charging stations and green hydrogen fuelling stations powered by renewable energy, located at key sites on major routes between Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, reports Renewables Now.

The first refuelling stations will be located in the Wodonga and Newcastle areas, using existing as well as new infrastructure, while more sites will follow soon after.

In the future, the network is planned to be expanded to Western Australia, designed to connect the east and the west coasts.

The partners are also exploring collaborations with motor vehicle manufacturers, end users and fleet operators to speed up the deployment of EV and fuel cell vehicles.
