Over twenty-five years MOL Romania has developed a long-term strategy and now has a network of 234 stations with an extensive range of services.

MOL Romania celebrates 25 years since the opening of the first gas station in Romani – over that period the company has invested approximately $ 200 million in the organic expansion and modernization of the retail network and logistics system.

Additionally, it acquired two major players - Shell (2004) and Eni / Agip (2014) - as part of a long-term development plan. Today the company has a network of 234 service stations, 2 fuel depots in Giurgiu and Tileagd and an LPG terminal in Tileagd. MOL Romania directly employs over 250 people in administrative offices, while over 2,700 people work in service stations across the country.

A company ready for the future

MOL's vision for the next 10 years is that gas stations will become integrated service stations for people on the move, including food shopping, coffee or charging electric vehicles. The company has already started the transformation process..

“The development strategy of MOL Romania is focused on 3 main pillars – Digitalization, Development and Diversification. At the same time, we set out to further develop our logistics system and network of stations nationwide, while diversifying the products and services in our portfolio, so as to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers,” says the company in a press release.

MOL Romania will also continue to expand its gastronomic concept Fresh Corner, launched in 2015.
