UK: Ascona Group afoot with store transition to Nisa
Ascona Group has 41 stores in total trading with Nisa in United Kingdom, of which 14 outlets already boast the Nisa fascia.
Fast-growing forecourt operator Ascona Group has 41 stores in total trading now with Nisa in United Kingdom, all of which will convert to Nisa stores formats in the coming months.
Ascona Group, who signed a deal to be supplied by Nisa in Spring, now boasts 14 stores with the Nisa fascia, and a further three are due to be completed by the end of November.
Ascona Group is also showcasing the very first Nisa Express store format which was unveiled in October at the group’s New County Service Station in Clophill, Bedfordshire.
Working with Nisa has allowed Ascona Group to “moving away from that traditional transient offer for a forecourt of just tobacco and soft drinks and improving the range to add in more chilled products and fresh foods,” according to retail trading director at Ascona Group, Paul Stoddart.
Ascona Group’s plans are afoot to continue transitioning its stores to Nisa, with refits, Nisa fascia and new range of products for customers during 2021.
