Gaz’Up, a network of (bio)gas filling stations for carriers in France, has announced plans to accelerate the deployment of its gas supply infrastructure with some twenty new filling stations to be launched in the country in the next years, reports Gaz-Mobilité.

With a current three-station network active in France, Gaz’Up will open at least half a dozen bioGNV stations in 2021.

Gaz’Up made the first step within the framework of this acceleration plan by starting last week the construction of its latest bioGNV station in Langon, Girone department. Expected to open in March 2021, the station is equipped with three refuelling tracks for serving professional transport and individuals alike.

"The launch of this project is the result of an active synergy between the Gaz'UP collective, Système U, local transporters, the Gironde department and the New Aquitaine Region, via its BioGNV Mobility call for projects" summarises the news release from Gaz'Up.
