Shell arrives in Croatia with the first station
Greek operator Coral Croatia has opened the first Shell petrol station in Croatia.
The Shell brand has entered Croatia with the opening of a site in the Zagreb suburb of Sesvete. The station was rebranded from an APIOS station.
With the acquisition of APIOS in Croatia, Coral and Motor Oil Group continue to expand their business network with the Shell brand with the aim of marketing top products and services, using experience in retail of petroleum products in Greece and Southeast Europe.
The Coral company was established in 1926 under the name Shell Hellas, and it was renamed Coral in 2010, when it was acquired by one of the biggest Greek business groups, Motor Oil Hellas.
With about 700 Shell petrol stations in Greece, Coral is a leader in the Greek oil distribution market.
