Naturgy, the largest operator of natural gas refueling infrastructure in Spain, has inaugurated a new gas station in Manresa, Centra Catalonia. The new station will supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) for both light and heavy vehicles.

The new station has a 60 m3 LNG tank and is designed to be expanded with another 80 m3 tank, according to a press release.

The gas filling station connects Lleida and Girona, passing through Manresa, and is also close to the highway linking Barcelona and Andorra. The area is considered strategic due to the large volume of traffic that circulates, as well as for being an area that currently lacks natural gas vehicle (NGV) infrastructure.

Naturgy plans to open more GNV filling stations thrughout this year.
