Italy: Dover Fueling Solutions opens new factory in Milan

The new site serves as base of operations for several ProGauge and Wayne Fueling Systems departments.

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) has announced the opening of its brand-new production facility in Milan, Italy. The inauguration of the site is another step in its future expansion for the ProGauge product lines as well as solidifying the company's presence in Europe.

The customer-focused Dover Corporation subsidiary has opened the new factory in order to manufacture more products on-site in an attempt to extend its product range to clients with shorter lead times. It’s a large and high-grade facility that consolidates into a modernized manufacturing and office space the ProGauge and Wayne Fueling Systems locations in Italy.

“We are already a global supplier, and the Milan facility will help us to develop and manufacture new and exciting products for our expanding customer base," said DFS Senior Business Development Manager, Fergus Heading.

The new facility is in charge of designing and manufacturing all ProGauge automatic tank gauge solutions. “This factory provides the base for future expansion, allowing us an exciting opportunity to grow our business at a faster rate and reach customers more efficiently. Our 60 member team is delighted to work in this new facility, and we are looking forward to further growth in the future,” added Stefano Scatena, DFS ATG Business Unit General Manager.

It also acts as the home of the ProGauge sales, customer services and product management departments as well as Wayne Fueling Systems Italy’s sales and support office. This adds up in making the new and improved Milan factory into the center for all things ATG related.
