Cambodia: PPT partners up with Canadia Bank for digital payment system

Both companies have birthed PTT Direct Debit Services, letting customers settle their payments by transferring money from their Canadia accounts to their PTT’s accounts.

PTT has announced a partnership with Canadia Bank Plc. for a new digital payment services and vendor financing scheme. Both companies will explore opportunities to jointly develop solutions such as e-payment services, cashless payment solution and ATM network across all PTT’s sites across the country.

The association has birthed PTT Direct Debit Services, a system that started to be operational by the end of last year. With this platform, customers can settle their payments for PTT products and services via the PTT E-Order system by transferring money from their Canadia Bank accounts to their PTT’s Canadia Bank account “with a click”.

“This agreement is a testament of a “win-win solution” for both parties and also represents the cooperation and partnership of two market leaders in their respective industries; with the eventual beneficiary of this initiative being our customers and also PTT’s vendors,” added Sia Say Guan.

Thanks to the new system, PTT products and services ordering processes will be significantly shortened by fastening banking transactions. In addition to digital payment services, Canadia Bank will offer supply chain financing packages to PTT dealers.
