Spar Poland has opened three new stores throughout the country as part of its objective to increase its presence throughout the market and support local retailers. All three inaugurated sites are run by independent entrepreneurs under the Spar licence and will be benefited from the company’s recent investment in its logistics capacity.

The brand’s subsidiary is now able to provide retailers with timely deliveries frequently. This investment in facilities, infrastructure and the supply system has strengthened the company’s offer to Polish entrepreneurs keen to develop their business.

The most recent retailers to join the organisation reflect the appeal for entrepreneurs to remain independent whilst benefiting from the expertise practices that the company has to offer. The increase in the product ranges available through the brand includes value, eco, organic and luxury products, supporting a complete offer for customers.

The retailer’s focus on fresh foods and convenience solutions such as the Bean Tree Café which offers fresh coffee, paninis, sandwiches, and delicatessen choices complements the overall offer.

As reported in the SPAR International 2021 annual review, year-on-year retail turnover grew by 20% using average annual exchange rates to €385.3 million.
