ReFuelForum Africa returns for a powerful program of industry networking and conference sessions

In just under a month, November 1-2, ReFuelForum Africa returns to Cape Town for 2 days of hyper-efficient networking and industry discussions among the leaders in the African Fuel Retail landscape.

It’s a unique opportunity for the continents’ leading fuel retailers to come together, discuss industry trends, share methods of best practice, and establish new relations with a wide range of innovative suppliers.

The powerful conference program is designed to ignite conversation among the attendees and Xavier Hery, Associate Director at Boston Consulting Group, will lead the conversation with a presentation on their latest report ‘A New Era for Fuel Retailers’. He will delve into the strategies that fuel retailers need to implement promptly to transform and thrive under the changes they face. This will set the scene nicely for Mr. Vishnu Govender, Regional Sales Director at Gilbarco Veeder-Root who continues with a presentation on ‘The Forecourt of the Future’. He’ll shed light on ways to reposition the forecourt for the new age of mobility.

Day two of the event charges on with an insightful panel discussion, led by Elitsa Georgieva, Executive Director of Citac. She will drive the conversation surrounding alternative fuels in Africa and how best to prepare for the journey to Net Zero. Other panelists include Mohamed Carrim, Puma Energy, Huub Stokman, OVH Energy and Angela Wisdom, Leighton O’Brien. Paul Grayling, MD & VP Sales EMEA, PDI Technologies will follow with a discussion leveraging data to navigate shifts in fuel retail.

With ‘adaption & transition’ being a running theme throughout the conference, Mr. Amged ElHanbali, OLA Energy will suitably close the event with a short session covering the role of leadership in changing the people’s mindset.
