Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SASCO) is ready to establish Saudi Arabia’s largest service station during the first quarter of 2024.

During a recent CNBC Arabia interview, the company’s CEO, Riyadh Al-Malik, explained that SASCO is investing approximately $9.3 million in this new facility. The site, by the name of Al-Jazeera 1, will serve as a link between Riyadh and Al-Qassim province, covering an area of 280,000 m2.

According to Arab News, this road has the highest traffic volume in the country, with over 100,000 vehicles on average.

Al-Jazeera 1 is also poised to act as a hub for travelers to grab a bite, rest and do some shopping while on the go. The company shared on X some pictures of the project, which is set to establish a commercial area besides the outlet to achieve this goal.

This also represents a big step in SASCO’s goal to establish a fuel retail network of 600 locations by the end of 2024. Currently, the company operates 541 stations across Saudi Arabia and has 50 new locations scheduled to be opened during 2024.
