The TotalEnergies service area at Jabbeke has undergone a complete makeover after the Circle K rebranding due to Alimentation Couche-Tard’s acquisition.

The service station has been modernized through store and restaurant renovations. In addition, the company has redeveloped the parking area for motorists, with a larger secure parking area for trucks.

The parking area towards Ostend has been equipped with Mac Address Scanners, which can check for the cargo status on site and in real time. With these safety measures, the Jabbeke freeway service area meets all the criteria for Gold-level certification under the EU-Parking standard.

"This is the first major improvement we've been able to introduce to our customers since we became Circle K members. We're helping to improve life on the road by enhancing the safety of our trucking customers and improving our food, beverage and food services", said Didier Dubois, Vice President of Circle K Belgium.

On January 3, 2024, Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc/Circle K finalized the takeover of part of TotalEurope's retail and card activities of the TotalEnergies brand. In Belgium, these activities constitute a 60/40 joint venture between Circle K and TotalEnergies.
