Chef and TV conductor Alberto Chicote “surprised all his audience as well as competitors” by suddenly taking them all to a fuel station, one under the Cepsa banner in an area named Miralcampo, where they were expected to carry out the weekly competition contests.

In this program, the competitors for the title of top chef had to prepare the best tasting possible food but only using ingredients bought in the Depaso convenience store which is associated with the service station.

“Normal operations were not disrupted,” Cepsa said. The event was carried out in the parking lot of the service station which was converted into a “big kitchen” with small roasting fire ovens placed “at a safe distance” within the station’s big parking lot.

In this television hosted by Chicote, 16 professional chefs compete during 15 weeks for the title of Top Chef with weekly qualifying rounds.
