Spain: Carrefour's mobile payment proves popular with drivers

Carrefour brands its new mobile payment method at the pump a success after three months in active.

Over 10,000 clients have already tried the mobile payment option at the 125 Carrefour gas stations in Spain.

The first phase of the lunch was focused on holders of the Pass card. Once those members had registered in the payment service, they could make the payments for their fuel without getting out of the car.

Carrefour´s new payment method is part of the last upgrades made to the app “Mi Carrefour”, which allows customers to carry out various activities connected to the retailing giant.
