More than 200 Petronas fuel stations to offer Digi telco services

Malaysian fuel retailer Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) and telecommunication firm Digi have partnered to offer mobile services and fleet management solutions.

Selected Digi services such as reloading, subscription, and vcash eWallet will now be available at Petronas’s Kedai Mesra stores. Outside the stores, Digi pop-up booths, powered by Digi’s Mobile Sales app, will also be set up.

The Digi-Petronas partnership will also facilitate a cross-marketing collaboration between Digi’s fleet tracking solution iFleet and PDB’s corporate fleet card programme, Petronas SmartPay.

“This (partnership) will not only improve the customer experience at our petrol stations but also aid in our own digitisation efforts as we strive to bring more digital products and services to them,” said Aadrin Azly, Head of Retail Business Division, PDB.
