Indonesia’s Pertamina to digitize more than 5,000 petrol stations
Indonesia’s state-owned oil company Pertamina is set to digitize gas pump nozzles of its 5,518 petrol stations across the country.
Pertamina’s digitalization program, an undertaking with Indonesia’s Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (BPH Migas) and telecommunication company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, aims to monitor the volume of subsidized fuel and Special Fuel Assignments, reports Netral News.
It will also enable data collection on public service obligation (PSO) and non-PSO fuels distributed in gas stations.
Pertamina targets to complete the digitalization by the end of 2018.
