Iberdrola to roll out the biggest network of electric service stations

Spanish energy provider Iberdrola will open over 200 fast charge stations with at least one every 100 kilometres on major highways, doubling the current number.

Iberdrola has begun the roll out of the biggest network of service stations for EV charging in major highways of Spain. With an investment of more than €10 million, its goal is to eliminate the barriers for electric mobility.

In just over a year they will install more than 200 sites with fast, super fast and ultra fast charging technology (50kW, 150kW and 350kW).

On each station 2 to 7 vehicles will be able to charge at the same time, while the electricity supplied will be 100% green and renewable.

Iberdrola is the first producer of wind energy in the world.
