The Latin American Commission of Fuel Entrepreneurs (CLAEC in Spanish) brings together entities that represent fuel retailers across Latin America and the Caribbean. Its Permanent General Secretariat is based in Uruguay and its presidency rotates among its member countries.
CLAEC's goal is to study the different scenarios, perspectives and challenges of the sector in each country, as well as to promote unity among the delegations' representatives. The organization meets twice a year, changing its venue according to the assignment of the presidency.
Maintaining its spirit of integration and brotherhood of its beginnings, CLAEC reaffirms its role in each congress, exchanging experiences among the different associations that make it up, always with the end consumer in mind. The organization aims to act as an entity proposals and consultations for the various governments of Latin America.
