The coin-operated laundry brand Bloomest has recently opened its first store at a service station in Spain, reports ElEconomista.es. The franchise, which belongs to the Miele Group, operates more than 60 stores in Spain after the opening at the service station in Murcia.

"This opening is an additional and parallel way of brand expansion. We intend to project our knowledge of shops "on the street" inside service stations, with the same added values, same customer target and commercial approach," said Gianluca Falchi, Business Manager of Bloomest in Iberia.

Bloomest has announced an expansion plan for service stations in Spain, where it plans to open 50 laundromats over the next 5 years. The total investment will be 2.5 million euros by the company and 1.5 million euros in civil works through local companies.

The laundromat stores at gas stations will be more than 25 square meters and will be located in fuel stations near urban centers, although the company does not discard other locations farther from urban centers.

"In addition to providing the machines and technology needed to set up the laundry, from Bloomest we can provide the client with the necessary facilities to be built in the gas station site," says Bloomest's Manager for the Levante area of Spain, Pedro Méndez, in relation to the way to enter this new market.

Bloomest already operates in Madrid, Catalonia, Castile and Leon, Castile-La Mancha, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Andalusia, Aragon, Extremadura, the Northern Zone and the Levante Zone.
