Foxtrot, Dom’s announce closing of operations
The sudden news was announced by the company a few months after both companies merged to form Outfox Hospitality.
Foxtrot and Dom’s Kitchen stores will close a few months after the companies announced their merger into Outfox Hospitality.
The upscale convenience retailer announced the news through its official website and confirmed all stores will close. The announcement didn’t include the reason behind this decision.
“After much consideration and evaluation, we regret to announce that Foxtrot and Dom’s Kitchen & Market will be closing their doors starting on April 23, 2024. The closure affects 2 Dom’s stores and 33 Foxtrots across Chicago, Austin, Dallas, DC areas,” the company wrote on an official statement through its website.
Although the firm stated that it has “explored many avenues to continue the business,” it found “no viable option” to continue operating. All services of both brands will cease operations on April 23, which includes Foxtrot’s and Dom’s delivery operations, store credits, mobile apps and all customer-facing operations.
Foxtrot and Dom’s merger was announced last November, as both companies aimed to “redefine food shopping and dining experiences” through its new Outfox Hospitality brand.
