Shell retailer in Ghana opens its first drive-through KFC restaurant
Vivo Energy Ghana, which distributes and markets Shell fuels and lubricants, said on June 9 that it has partnered with Kentucky Fried Chicken to open its first drive-through restaurant in Kumasi.
The country first lady, Julia Osei Tutu, wife of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Asantehene, inaugurated the new facility located in a Shell service station in Asokwa.
The Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Ebenezer Faulkner, said the inauguration is part of the company’s effort to deliver “a complete service station experience”.
The Managing Director of KFC Africa, Doug Smart, said he is “looking forward to increase our footprint in more Shell service stations”.
Vivo Energy Ghana has 150 retail stations.
