Hilton Worldwide has rolled out a program, which aims to install EV chargers at its 50 hotels in the United States by the end of the year.

It also plans to expand the program to 100 hotels in the US and implement it overseas in 2016, according to a company release.

The international hotel chain teams up with Tesla and General Electric’s Current to cater to all types of electric vehicles.

The stations will be available at Hilton Worldwide properties, including The Waldorf Astoria New York, DoubleTree by Hilton Durango, Hampton Inn by Hilton Reno, and Hilton Los Angeles Airport.

As part of the charging program, Hilton owners can get the charging equipment for free and shall shoulder installation cost and electricity usage.

"We believe technology can and should take the friction out of travel - no matter if you're road-tripping in an electric vehicle or flying into town and need to find the best way to get to one of our hotels. Our goal is to support our guests in their travels no matter what technology they're using," said Jim Holthouser, executive vice president, Global Brands, Hilton Worldwide.
