New Trillum CNG station ready for grand opening

New Trillium compressed natural gas fueling station to open on November 6 in West Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Last update:

“Opening this station means that Glenwood Springs area fleets and drivers can now use Colorado-produced natural gas for light-duty and medium-duty trucks,” said Garfield County Commissioner Tom Jankovsky.

The new station was built by Trillum CNG, which constructed and operates around 100 CNG stations across the U.S.

“Natural gas is important for Garfield County, and using it for transportation is good for our local economy,” Jankovsky added.

Grants awarded by the Colorado Energy Office, Garfield County and city of Glenwood Springs covered about half the cost of the $1.2 million project, reported Post Independent.

Last month PetrolPlaza reported WEC had put Trillium up for sale, but no acquisition has yet been made.
