Czech Republic: Benzina selects Ingenico for new payment solution

The Czech Republic's largest fuel retailer Benzina has selected Ingenico Group to deploy a new card payment system and 24/7 technical support.

lngenico Group, a global operator of seamless payment, will implement a solution that combines the iPP320 contactless smart pinpad, integrated with the filling stations cash register software, and a customized payment and fleet card management application, simplifying considerably the checkout process at counters.

"We are glad to have been selected to provide a comprehensive payment and fleet card management solution enabling Benzina to enhance its customer purchasing experiences while optimizing its network operation," comments Martina Kirchrathova, lngenico Group Country Manager for Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Benzina, the number one fuel retailer in the country, will install the new payment software in its 339 gas station network all across the Czech Republic.

“The solution fits perfectly with our technical & business requirements as regards to easy migration to new acquirer, integration of fleet and contactless bank cords and faster application performance,” said Vladimfr Docekal, Chief Operations Officer of Benzina.
